You Gotta Fight!...For Your Right!...to Party!!!!-Beastie Boys

You Gotta Fight For Your Right to Party, because I'm sick and tired of my parents not letting me...well party >:[ I'm a good kid, and I get descent...well mediocre grades but that's a big deal for me.I think all well behaved teenagers should have a "right to party" and if not fight for it!!! be a rebel!!! I guess that they're trying to protect me from the situations that happen in the real world but what's going to happen when I have to move out in a few years and get thrown out into the cold, ruthless real world? I will be unprepared since I've been held hostage in my house for ohhh sooo loooongggg. I'm the last of they're kids, I'm the baby of the family and I guess that's why they are so overprotective over me. Still they make me feel like some endangered animal stuck in a cage at the zoo. Well I guess until we come to some sort of agreement on this I'll keep on fighting for my RIGHT to party =]

Reading.

Well, I haven't read many books this school year. However the few which I have read I've enjoyed. I read a book called Girl Interrupted about a young woman who is suicidal and is thought to be insane...I don't think she ws insane because she doubted that theory herslef. If she was truly insane she wouldn't be thinking about it. This book was very interesting to me because it made me see life through the eyes of someone who is "mentally ill".

I also read a book called Breathing Underwater. It was about an abusive relationship in which a high school girl student is in an abusive relationship with her popular boyfriend, the abuse is mostly phsychological and she doesn't really realize it until it becomes physical and he slaps her. i really liked this book because unlike most books this book is written with the "bad guy's" view on the story not the victim.
